Sample 31-day Workout Calendar
Investing in personal training near you goes much farther than simply working out with a trainer a few days a week. Your personal trainer will give you the guidance and education you need to begin adopting positive lifestyle habits inside and outside of the gym. That includes providing you with advice on nutrition and healthy habits. Another valuable tool your trainer will give you is a customized monthly workout calendar.
Take a look at the 31-day sample workout calendar below for reference. Your trainer will build out a similar calendar for you each month and program workouts that you can do between training sessions. Depending on your goals, these workouts may include cardio sessions, strength-training sessions, mobility work, or all of the above. Your trainer will also include rest days so you can recharge. With the help of your trainer and your monthly calendar, you’ll know exactly what you need to do each day to move closer to your goals.

When you choose from the many gyms that offer personal training, how will your trainer know how to program your workouts? That’s easy — you’ll tell them. During your first session, instead of hitting the treadmill or the weight machines right away, your trainer will sit down with you to learn more about you. Your trainer will likely ask about your health history, including any past or current injuries. They’ll then want to know about your current fitness routine. They’ll likely take measurements and put you through a short workout to assess your fitness level and create a benchmark for future comparison.
The other important thing they’ll do is ask you about your fitness goals. Don’t worry if your goal seems aggressive or even out of reach. Part of your trainer’s job is to help you break down your goal into achievable steps that will ultimately lead you to where you want to go.
At EōS Fitness, we offer personal training in six distinct styles:
- Anti-Aging/Prehab
- Bodybuilding
- High Intensity/Weight Loss/Fat Burning
- Post-Injury Rehab
- Sports Specific
- Strength-Based
Within each of these categories, there’s plenty of room for your trainer to design a customized training program for you that they will adapt over time as you progress.
The best way to see what personal training is all about is to sign up for a Complimentary session at EōS Fitness in Glendale- 51st Ave/Olive today.
